The Bible itself predicted that it would become the subject of much mockery. However, it also predicted that its mockers would also become fools. Because of all the distortion and cruelty caused by many religious groups, many people don't want anything to do with God, the Bible, or Christianity. However, the Bible talks about a man called Solomon who asked God for wisdom and received so much of it that it drove him to wealth. Since the Bible holds infinite wisdom, it's foolish to neglect the wisdom that it offers.
One of the driving beliefs behind MTL Solutions is the need to live a Godly life. Now, what is a Godly life? At the core, a Godly life is a life that's lived how God meant for it be lived. Many people never find contentment in life because they are living a life that they were not meant to live, and most do not dare to move out of the paradigm that they are in. More often than not, the paradigm (or the matrix, if you will) will almost never amount to anything but dissatisfaction and disfunction. Here is how the Godly life according to the Bible can shatter the trappings of the paradigm:
It Recognizes That You Are Meant For More Than What You Could Think
It Challenges You To Love Others Like Yourself Even When It's Inconvenient
It Teaches You How To Raise Healthy Families And Have Good Relationships
It Allows You To Be Content Without Being Complacent Or Consistently Disappointed
The following verses are some of the Bible verses that changed my perspectives on money and continue to inspire much of my financial principles to this day.
Matthew 6:33 = "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you."
Proverbs 22:7 = "The rich rules over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender."
Matthew 6:24 = “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon."
Philippians 4:19 = "And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus."
1 Timothy 6:17-18 = Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy. Let them do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to give, willing to share,
Deuteronomy 8:18 = “And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.”
Deuteronomy 15:4 = "except when there may be no poor among you; for the Lord will greatly bless you in the land which the Lord your God is giving you to possess as an inheritance"
The following verses showed me how I should actually be conducting business and drive me to make the decisions that I make to this very day.
Genesis 2:15 = "Then the Lord God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to tend and keep it."
Luke 19:13 = "So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, ‘Do business till I come.’"
Psalm 112:5 = "A good man deals graciously and lends; He will guide his affairs with discretion."
Ephesians 2:10 = "For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them."
1 Peter 4:10 = "As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God."
Galatians 6:9 = "And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart."
Ecclesiastes 9:10 = "Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work or device or knowledge or wisdom in the grave where you are going."
